Are you an entrepreneurial technology leader with experience of both technology and operations management? This is a high profile position which will form part of the organisations senior management team and play a pivotal role in the company's development and ultimate success. As the ideal candidate you will be responsible for all aspects of technology and operations management including building and owning technology platforms and integrating best practice. Providing oversight, planning, and technical direction to technical leads to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Development of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers alongside a robust enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan. Designing a recruitment strategy to attract, retain and develop a team of high calibre developers and DevOps. You will also be responsible for communicating the technology strategy to investors, management, and stakeholders both internal and external.

To be considered you will need previous experience building and leading a technology function ideally within a similar environment such as Payments, Fintech or Crypto. You will need to demonstrate experience of designing platforms & systems from the ground up with an excellent understanding of information security, risk and governance.Previous experience of implementing an agile methodology, working in a distributed environment and managing a P&L account are also important. As an individual you will be a strong & clear communicator able to articulate a vision, be a comfortable leading from the front in terms of delivery with a "can do" and "no problem to big or small" approach. Experience within the organisations current technology stack which includes Java (Spring framework, Spring Boot, RESTful), Kubernetes, Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift, XCode); Knowledge of Agile Methods for Development - Scrum / Kanban, use of Epics, Stories, Issues and tools such as JIRA and Confluence and UX design experience would all be preferred/beneficial.
