Head of IT Service Operations

A leading financial organisation are looking for a Head of IT Service Operations who will be responsible for all customer facing production services, the overall technical environment, and the associated technical deliverables from key suppliers.

Experience & knowledge:

• ITSM & Security best practice (ITIL, COBIT, ISO27001) in finance-grade enterprises. Be able to assess and improve what we have and drive new or changed processes adoption.
• Supplier Management - you'll have managed best of breed technology suppliers such as Salesforce, Rackspace/AWS, Microsoft, Akamai as well as niche and specialist suppliers.
• Technology generalist - you won't be intimidated by complex technologies, but rely on SMEs whilst building your own knowledge and be able to hold your own when dealing with anything from service outages involving multiple suppliers to supplier renegotiations where you need to cut costs whilst improving the service.
• Strategic view - you've dealt with the introduction of fast paced change delivery streams (agile, CI/CD) alongside maintaining flawless service stability.

Skill Set:

• ITIL Expert (ideally) or at least ITIL Intermediate / ITIL Practitioner
• Ownership of ISO27001 IT controls
• AWS product concepts (eg. AWS Associate Architect / AWS Cloud Practitioner)
• Identity & Access Management, SSO, MA-TLS, PKI concepts
