Description

The Account Director will be responsible for new account development and expanding existing accounts within a defined portfolio. In this case that portfolio will cover organisations in the UK and Germany, in both English and German. This will be measured by achieving assigned sales quotas and goals set in conjunction with your line manager. Business will be generated through prospecting, responding to RFPs and developing proposals for presentation to customers. Other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Coordinating with internal resources from marketing, pre-sales engineering, and development
  • Developing sales strategies and forecasts sales volumes for all products and channels in territory
  • Working with Solution Consultants to address customer needs
  • Establishing short and long term goals for his territory in line with corporate objectives
  • Profile

    Candidates applying for the Account Director role must be able to speak fluent English and German to a professional business level. Ideally they would also come from a software sales background, comfortable with selling enterprise level solutions. However, if a candidate can prove base level experience in managing enterprise level deals in other industries and has the language skills, it may be worth a conversation. Other attributes and experience required include:-

  • Ability to communicate complex information to customers and executives
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Professional demeanour to maintain and enhance relationships
  • Distinguished by additional specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth, as well as a sustained track record of success in sales
  • Previous Contact Center sector experience preferred
  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to lower level personnel
  • Capability to work on extremely complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables
  • 12+ years of field sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, channel partners, internal meetings and/or events (national and/or international)
  • Languages: Fluent English and German is mandatory

    For the right candidate the base salary will be £70,000 to £80,000 with a significant bonus opportunity and benefits package on top.
