Our client is FTSE listed, business and information services. The company has experienced significant growth both organically and via acquisitions. The company has a number of iconic brands within its group structure that operate on a global basis and serve a diverse customer set. As part of a far reaching Marketing transformation strategy the business has created a number of marketing leadership roles to help achieve its ambitious plans. The Director of Marketing is one such critical and newly created role. This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and the Subsidiary Managing Director. The role will be instrumental in the growth of the groups most preeminent brands. This division serves a community of branded financial services and fintech customers with business critical data and insight. The product set is delivered through a network of offices in north America, Europe and the far east. Candidates with international marketing experience, especially those used to leading remote teams would be advantageous. It is likely the candidate will come from a B2B global business or the financial services/fintech sector. The opportunity exists to set and define a marketing strategy that will lead to a demonstrable return on investment. The business will appeal to those who like to lead from the front and have a P&L focus. The business is both fast paced and commercially rewarding so the ability to operate effectively at pace it essential.
