Head of Process Excellence - Contract - Winchester

This role is a key role with my client and in support of the Transformation Programme that will see:

• The introduction of significantly improved processes using industry best practice
• The creation of a streamlined great employee user experience and
• The focus on a smooth adoption of the processes and system changes supported by behavioural change.

Background:

• My Client is on a large-scale transformation journey that will replace existing business unit specific and highly customised systems and processes with industry best practice SaaS tools utilising out of the box standard processes and a key principle of configuration rather than customisation.
• This will lead to significant behavioural and process change in the organisation. The Process Excellence Manager owns the process architecture and hence must ensure that all newly developed processes fit together end to end. He/She will need to work closely with the process owners in the business units to ensure metrics and continuous process management are embedded into the organisation to realise efficient processes.
• The Head of Process Architecture will need to work closely with the Head of Architecture, his team of Enterprise Architects, as well as the business change leads to ensure the best structure (aligned with the business drivers) is implemented.

Technical Skills:

• Strong awareness of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and techniques.
• Significant experience in analysing and mapping business processes and measuring process performance using metrics and Key Performance Indicators.
• Experience working at and influencing senior management.
• Evidence of leading a significant process engineering programme.
• Experience in the application of BPMN2.0 process mapping standard.
• Experience driving process excellence.
• Good knowledge of the TOGAF Architecture Method and Industry Frameworks such as TM Forum Frameworks.
