An up and coming FinTech are looking for an exceptional commercial Finance Manager/Financial Controller. As a key employee of a start-up you will need to be prepared to 'roll-up your sleeves' and lend your experience to many different areas of the business. You will be a sole entity in finance and a "jack of all trades". You will need to be hands on, have start up experience and a strong understanding of the Financial Services industry. The organisation, currently at c60 employees looks to double headcount in the near year.

THE JOB

Specifically your responsibilities will include:

• Complete ownership of the finance function
• Extensive board exposure
• Management Information reporting
• Controller of all entities across UK & Europe which includes oversight of all AP and AR processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement preparation
• Bridging the gap between finance and the rest of the business
• Heavily involved with the business' annual planning exercise, preparing and presenting financial forecasts
• Strong financial modeller
• Financial control and budgeting
• Bulding out finance and core function as business accelerates

YOU

To be considered for this job, you will have the following experience:

• A qualified accountant with a minimum of 7 years of post qualification experience
• Strong upward trajectory with gravitas to deal with very senior stakeholders
• Finance Manager experience with an interest in Financial Technology
• Intelligent, motivated, innovative and excellent ability to get things done
• Experience building things from scratch
• Equally comfortable dealing with both the financial detail and the big picture
• Experience with BI tools, (Power BI desirable)
• Leveraging technology for automation
• Consultancy or Engineering background preferred
