My client is a large property asset management business based in East London who are undergoing exciting change around their data services through Azure migrations and new software solutions
My client are a large property asset management who are investing heavily into their Data and BI services. They're hiring a new role for a Data Architect into the Architecture function to support on a number of large programmes of work.
As a Data Architect you will work with the Enterprise Architect to design solutions in a variety of projects such as Azure data migrations, Dynamics 365, Data Governance and more.
It will be your responsibility to engage with stakeholders across the whole enterprise to understand their businesses processes, set the strategy and principles for data management and define and implement standards for naming, describing, governance, modelling, transforming, storing and delivering data across the enterprise.
You will work closely with data consumers, predominantly across the BI and Data Analytics functions, to assure that solutions are fit for purpose and standards are met when data solutions are being delivered.
This role would suit a Data Architect or a Senior BI Developer with modelling skills, looking to step into a Data Architect role that can involve hands-on development.
Essential skills & experience:
- Background as a Senior BI Developer or Data Architect in an enterprise environment
- Microsoft SQL Server
- SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Visualisation (ideally Power BI)
- Data modelling (ERwin or similar tool)
- Stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable skills & experience:
- Microsoft Azure and related - Data Lake, Data Factory etc.
- Knowledge of TOGAF, COBIT and or IT4IT
My client offers a salary of up to £80,000 as well as the opportunity to work on Azure cloud projects within a changing environment.
This role would suit an individual who is looking to step into a data architect role.
