Base Salary: £150k Car Allowance, Bonus, Significant LTIP, Executive Benefits.

Our client is a leading UK Ports Operator with a wide variety of assets, from plant and equipment through to complex civil structures, access roads, rail, locks, to name but a few. Due to continued growth and expansion, coupled to a need to further develop, maintain, improve or replace existing assets, to enable that growth, they wish to appoint a Head of Asset Management.

The Role:

• You will be responsible for a multi-site operation, with a variety of assets, including, mechanical and electrical plant and equipment, complex civil structures, offices and warehouses.
• To lead the development of short, medium- and long-term asset management strategies, ensuring that the business operational resources are continually able to satisfy a wide range of client demands and requirements.
• You be responsible for all Opex and Capex, across several locations, creating a preventative maintenance culture within the business. To prepare and manage long, medium- and short-term budgets.
• To ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within budget. Vetting, managing and liaising with all Main and Sub- Contractors. You will be fully conversant with QHSE requirements.

The Person:

• You will be Degree Educated, ideally in a Technical discipline, in a multiple support services environment. You could have worked in any of the following sectors, Petrochemical, Power, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Construction, Transport. You will have a proven track record of successful Asset management and delivery in a large organisation.
• An inspirational leader, who can drive results through people. Capable of speaking fluently about safety, with a professional ‘can do attitude’.
• You will have a passion for building, managing and enhancing team performance, whilst delivering continuous and sustainable improvements.
