Estates Surveyor requirement to work on on varied public sector portfolio.
Client Details
Michael Page are partnered with a large public sector client on the East Coast in order to find the most relevant Estates Surveyor for this interim day rate role.
Description:
- Managing a complex public sector property portfolio including: commercial properties, shops, workshops, and ground rented properties
- Carry out rent review and lease renewal negotiations, marketing vacant properties, negotiating lease terms, rent arrears recovery, and lease enforcement
- Managing the rolling programme of asset valuations and provide valuations and property related advice
- Advising on property valuation issues
- Managing acquisitions of land and property as required, and maintaining the Asset Register
- Carrying out options and development appraisals and feasibility studies in respect of properties and property related projects
- Provide a comprehensive asset and property management service for a large and varied portfolio currently valued at in excess of £1 billion
Profile
The successful candidate for the Estates Surveyor post will:
- MRICS - Required
- Have strong landlord and tenant knowledge
- Have Strong property management experience
- Be able to managing outsourcing of RR/LR
- Be able to prioritise and a problem solver
