Joshua Robert Recruitment is proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a client-side property developer, investor and asset management organisation based in the West Midlands. The organisation has a mixed residential portfolio spanning the UK, but focuses now primarily on Student Accommodation.

Reporting to the COO the Project Director will be the senior interface between shareholders and the delivery partners. Consisting of the initial client-side design team, for tender and contractor appointment, through the construction stages and to final delivery. Whilst coordinating the scope and specification of the final product with the end users/operators. You will be required to act as the single focal point of contact between the shareholders/lenders and the developer management team, to ensure that the desired project objectives are delivered. Further, in collaboration with the company CFO and project team, you will be responsible for budgeting contract works in line with the site appraisal process and external valuers/project monitoring professionals.

To be considered you must have significant experience project managing the delivery of large projects above £15m+ construction value. Ideally you will be a member of a professional body (RICS / CIOB). It's important you can evidence sole responsibility running a business or team with more than 3 projects onsite at any one time, whilst coordinating future works and completion deadlines. It's also important that you have a good working knowledge of Construction, the Design & Build process, M&E design and Building Regulations requirements.
