Akton recruitment are looking to take on an experienced joint children's commissioning manager for the local authorities in Southwark, the position would be a full-time role, 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. The rate for this role will be £500 - £550 per day, dependant on experience.
Your responsibilities will span both local authority and CCG requirements. You will be responsible for the development of joint commissioning approaches for the health and social care of children and young people, underpinned by Southwark local authorities and Southwark CCG's Joint Strategic Framework for Children and Young People. This includes maternity services, early years, emotional wellbeing and mental health, early help and the health and wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people, including those with disabilities and those in care. Management responsibilities include managing people, delegated budgets and other resources.
Requirements:

A degree in relevant fields (Masters preferred)
Hold a relevant professional qualification or membership of a relevant professional body.
Substantial experience in a relevant professional/management capacity within a highly complex organisation.
A proven track-record of influencing strategic decisionmakers
