A superb Regional Operations Director opportunity has arisen at a very well respected 3PL / third party logistics business based in Northamptonshire. Due to the promotion of the current incumbent, the role has arisen which will be the dream opportunity for an experienced retail 3PL operations leader who loves the dynamic environment that exists when a logistics / supply chain business partners with retailers to perform vital supply chain activities.

If you have experience of leading operations that partner retailers in the performance of their supply chain or logistical requirements and you are interested in working for a business that thrives on delivering against the unique customer needs and KPIs then please read on!

This organisation have a number of sites across the region which have high-performing teams in place. They requirement is for a leader to join the organisation to maintain and even grow those teams as more contracts are won and greater complexity enters the operational environment. You will need to therefore be a leader who enjoys getting to know everything about the way the operations meet customer requirements to ensure SLAs and/o KPIs are adhered to in order to esnure customer satisfaction.

We have mentioned complexity in this advert. This role needs a candidate that has managed operations that have value-add activities on site. A goods-in / goods-out operational leader is not what this client are looking for. Whilst goods do come in and go out, there are numerous tailored services that happen to those goods on site, and each service is tailored to a specific customer need. Often those customers have representatives on site too. A candidate is therefore sought with experience of managing such activities in this 3PL and value add environment.
