Our client a world leading defence organisation are looking for a Chief Engineer to join their engineering team to cover a large scale exciting prospect. You will be working with cutting edge technology to provide the technical leadership, in close partnership with the Project Engineering Manager, of a multi-disciplinary team, to identify, develop, delivery and support the technical solution.
The Role:
- Lead and own the technical solution to a cross-divisional, multi domain project within the defence industry
- Ensure robust quality, performance, cost and time trade-offs are undertaken and then to establish the technical solution coherent with the agreed budgets, timescales and business strategy
- Effectively implementing project lifecycle management processes
The Person:
- Experience of delivering as part of a prime organisation ideally with experience of Radar or Electronic Warfare
- Extensive experience in integrating systems and subsystems together
- Experience in developing integrated solutions for airborne environments
