Future Schools Trust is seeking an inspiring Chief Executive Officer to join the trust on an Interim basis with the vision, energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and experience to lead and guide the Trust through its next phase of development. Working with the Board of Trustees and Headteachers, FST's Chief Executive will embed an ethos of collaboration and continuous improvement within the current infrastructure.

Future Schools Trust is a visionary organisation comprised of New Line Learning and Cornwallis Academies, Tiger Primary School and Tiger Cubs Day Nursery. Cornwallis Academy also houses Future Schools Trust's large and thriving Sixth Form. Each school has its own Headteacher who is supported by a Local Governing Body and joint services that include HR, IT, Finance, Facilities and Communications. Our Trust vision is to ensure that all our young people have high expectations, outstanding achievement and reach their full potential, as well being prepared for both work and life.

The new Chief Executive will be a creative, determined and empathetic leader with a proven track record of success in managing complexity and effecting positive change. They will be a keen strategist, with the intellect and personal authority to lead a Multi Academy Trust; and have the open communication style to build close connections within Future Schools Trust and its wider partners. The appointee will be flexible, energetic, and resilient.

With an outstanding track record of leadership and management gained in an education environment, you will bring the strategic skills to ensure that our Trust is robust and fit for the future, and the commercial and enterprise skills to think innovatively about new business opportunities. You will bring a track record of delivering continuous quality improvement and will be an outstanding communicator, committed to a visible, open and transparent style of leadership. You will be adept at managing external relationships, with experience of working in partnership to deliver creative opportunities for learners. Above all, you will bring a passion for learning and the ambition to deliver even greater success at our Trust.
