Head of Design

Our client is a leading Engineering Consultants who deliver a comprehensive
engineering consultancy packages to clients within the Electrical Transmission & Distribution sector across substations & Cable projects. Their in-house expertise includes land surveyors, civil, structural and electrical engineers, 3D modelling, quantity surveyors and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting into the Director you will lead a multisite team of design engineers
• You will promote innovation & best practice across the team on projects and work closely with Bid teams
• Work in a role requiring high levels of client interaction on projects from inception to design

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering qualified & of Chartered status you will have comprehensive expertise across electrical T&D design projects ideally with in depth expertise of Substation projects
• With first class communication skills you will be a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who will manage the entire life cycle of projects and client interaction
• Possess strong leadership skills with strong analytical and problem-solving you will be able to develop strong relationships internally & externally
