Azura Search are currently partnered with a fast-growing entrepreneurial and international business. The successful property/hospitality business has raised over £600 million in capital, have assets exceeding £1.75bn and are looking for an exceptional FP&A Director to sit within their fast-growing finance team.

The FP&A Director will be responsible for driving strategic and financial decision-making across the company as well as supporting in group level capital raising. The newly formed role of FP&A Director will be an integral part of the team, reporting into the CFO and have a high degree of exposure to other executives, including the CEO.  

The role commands for candidates to drive for perfection and challenge every perception. The business is currently at a pivotal point of growth and thus needs free thinkers and exhilarated individuals who are prepared to deliver high quality results. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Developing and owning the business model by reviewing the existing model to ensure it is robust and intuitive with financial statements fully integrated and insightful 
• Coordinating group level equity and debt raising processes including setting up a company data room to ensure capital raising processes can be executed within market-leading timeframes and negotiating appropriate due diligence scopes and motivation of key advisors to deliver within tight timeframes 
• Work closely with the CFO and executive committee to deliver consist and accurate and insightful communications on business performance to the board and investors through developing monthly board packs, recommending actions required to improve business performance 
• Provide financial support for strategic and commercial decisions, challenging assumptions and making recommendations through value-add analysis, which include expansion opportunities and increasing profitability while reducing costs 
• Build a high-performance FP&A function based on understanding of what best-in-class looks like, including implementation of a new system and supporting a core finance team in rolling 12-month budgeting process 

Candidate Requirements: 

The successful FP&A Director will be an ACA/CA qualified accountant, ideally with recent fast growth or high performing real estate, hospitality or retail experience. Private equity experience would also be an advantage. You should also be a strong leader, have a strong team ethic and be adaptable with a positive, can-do attitude.
