My Client Based in central Brussels are looking for BA

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

The Business Analyst will participate in the elaboration, construction and transition phases of the project. He/she will be the link between the customer.

The activities to be carried out are (non exhaustive list):

  • Update of the vision document and/or business case
  • Analysis of Business Requirements
  • Business model analsys
  • Process and data flow analysis
  • Functional requirements and business cases analysis
  • List non-functional requirements
  • Design of information systems (in collaboration with the architect)
  • Assistance of change management
  • Risk analysis
  • Elaboration and implementation Service level agreements
  • Writing and updating use cases
  • Definition of messages to be exchanged between different systems
  • Assistance in defining test scenarios, test cases and test data. Writing and updating use cases Definition of messages to be exchanged between different systems

Knowledge and skills:

  • In depth knowledge of information systems matters
  • In depth knowledge of modelling tools
  • Knowledge of business analysis tools
  • Ability to apply high quality standards
  • Experience if working on Back Office integrations projects
  • Knowledge of e-Signature and certificates (how to ensure integrity, nonrepudiation, etc. from a business point of view) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of defining XSD using standards (such as UN/CEFACT) is an advantage The main methodologies and tools used are:
  • RUP (Rational Unified Process)
  • PM2 (EC Project Management Methodology)
  • Altova XML Spy Expected additional skills of the candidate are:
  • English and/or French (spoken) and outstanding redaction skills in English
  • Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (English and French spoken), excellent communicator
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
  • Capacity to give presentations on the related subject
  • Strong capacity in preparing and writing reports
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Working in a proactive and autonomous way
