Sanderson is working with a well known consultancy provider to identify a Head of Commercial for a 6 month contract to lead the commercial relationships of a number of key client accounts. The base location of this assignment is flexible however there will be travel requirements to client sites across the M4 corridor and Scotland.

Reporting to the Commercial Director as Head of Commercial you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial and contractual discussions with new and existing clients. You will provide specialist and trusted advice on all commercial matters including supporting new bid prospects.

Some of the key accountabilities will include:
  • To build, grow and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Management of contractual and commercial policies and processes.
  • Resolution of commercial escalations.
  • Negotiate agreements with a strong emphasis on value and delivery.
  • Lead and support commercial bids in negotiation, legal drafting, due diligence and implementation.

The successfully candidate will have extensive commercial negotiation experience and strong knowledge of the outsourcing market. The ability to effectively communicate, influence and negotiate with senior level stakeholders and colleagues is essential. Proven experience across Financial Services and Outsourcing is highly desirable.
