Foundation for FutureLondon

Trustees

Foundation for FutureLondon was established by the Mayor of London and the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) to support and steward the collective vision of East Bank, ensuring that it realises its full potential as a catalyst for global and local ambitions.

The project will touch the lives of everyone living on, working in and visiting the Park. East Bank is a unique prospect for London and a concept that is almost unparalleled on the international stage.

The East Bank partners is committed to realising the extraordinary potential of this cluster by collaborating creatively with each other; with other QEOP businesses and institutions; and with local communities and community organisations, many of whom are of national and international stature in their own right.

The collective aim is to create a cluster that has a prominent global presence; that accelerates innovation and contributes strongly to the economic development of London and the UK; and that plays a central role in transforming the social and economic life chances of people living in East London communities, which whilst they remain places of serious disadvantage and exclusion, are replete with young and energetic talent that often goes unrecognised and unfulfilled.

In order to realise this vision, the Foundation for FutureLondon is seeking a number of trustees.

Whilst we’re eager to engage with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and possessing a range of skills, individuals with functional expertise in the following areas would be of particular interest:

  • Digital & Scientific Innovation
  • Legal
  • Regeneration, place-making and community engagement
  • Revenue stream development
  • Finance & Accounting
  • Branding & Marketing
