Description for the Head of Product Marketing:-

My clients products are used by some of the largest/prestigious companies globally and helps them manage their massive,complex IT estates. The engineering team has been agile for over 10 years and keeps up with the latest technologies and trends, which helps them build scalable enterprise products. The Head of Product Marketing will be responsible for the development and direction of the Product Marketing team. The successful candidate's role is to synthesize market, customer, product, and competitive inputs into driving the highest possible revenue for the business. This is a managerial, strategic and very much "hands on" role delivering messaging and content (development of high-quality marketing materials) as well.

Responsibilities for the Head of Product Marketing include:-
  • Lead global Product Marketing
  • Product Positioning
  • Overseeing Product Launches
  • Engage with product/engineering
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement

Experience needed for the Head of Product Marketing role:
  • Strong previous experience in a B2B Enterprise (IT) Product Marketing leadership role
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to ability to present complex material both to technical teams as well as to customers in a way that relates to each audience.
  • Knowledge of "Commercial Insight" approach to Product Marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise information technology software market
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technology product messages into customer facing business and technology content
  • Proven track record of hands-on development of high-quality marketing materials
  • Proven experience of working with senior level customers
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A history in journalism, or as an Analyst a bonus, but if not proven experience of writing great content/messaging is a must!

Basic between £110,000 and £130,000 (DOE - flexible) + bonus (20%) + Pension + health + Life assurance etc
