Job Details
Our client, a specialist mortgage lender is currently looking for a Interim to Permanent Head of Credit Risk to lead, motivate and develop the Risk function.
£500 per day on an interim basis, c£100 000 + benefits on conversion to a permanent contract.
Location: 3 x days per week Basingstoke, 2 days per week central London
Key responsibilities will include embedding and developing the risk management framework, in particular ensuring the business fully implements the 3 lines of defence model. You will lead the ongoing development, monitoring and refinement of the company's risk appetite statements; develop and maintain credit risk and pricing models and stress testing in addition to creating effective risk governance structures.
The successful candidate will have extensive prior experience of managing a risk function in a mortgage lending environment across a range of risk types, especially credit risk. Strong knowledge of the regulatory issues affecting the mortgage market is essential.
