Head of Delivery - Retail

We currently have a Head of Delivery role for a high profile and growing retail company with headquarters in central London delivering a portfolio of programmes and projects.

Key for this role will be to define and enhance the delivery roadmap and put in place project management cadence that will ensure successful delivery of all IT priorities.

Role:

• define and manage the portfolio of projects that will enable delivery of the business priorities
• Map out status and value of current initiatives portfolio to identify point of departure and arrival.
• Define and enhance a single portfolio of projects and create a project delivery roadmap
• Prepare and manage the IT delivery budget.
• Oversee a live release and implementation calendar with the other IT Heads.
• Run the programme/project management office (PMO).
• Act as the main oversight and governance mechanism
• Build, coach and lead a lean, motivated and competent Project Management team
