Description

The role will lead a team of business analysts and data scientists, ensuring integrated and synthesized analysis and seamless reporting, linking product and representatives/customers information with sales and performance results. You will be responsible to ensure in-depth data interrogation and mining, driving culture of curiosity and continuous improvement in building data-led organization.

Driving data architecture and tools/systems structure improvements to ensure best external and internal customers experience will also be in scope of the role. The role will cooperate closely with key stakeholders within the business and provide insight and executional enablers to deliver UK business financial objectives and key strategic initiatives, as well as operational priorities. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as leadership skills will be critical for this role, combined with ability to work with extended number of business partners, in both local and global organizations (Finance, Marketing, Sales, Dig IT, e-Commerce, Service).

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • Building and leading the team of business analysts and data scientists
  • Providing robust data-led insight to the business
  • Ensuring robust, seamless and automated reporting
  • Lead tools/systems and reporting enhancement in the UK. Cooperate with Global partners on data architecture, systems/tools structure, data integrity.
  • Drive reporting automation initiatives through leveraging available tools
  • Continually enhance and drive improvements in data visualization, analytics and reporting within the Commercial Analytics team
  • Ensure highest level of capabilities in systems/tools, within entire managed team
  • Commercial Analytics leadership: lead business analyses to provide a holistic understanding of operational performance and new strategic opportunities
  • Identify risk and opportunities and make recommendations in planning decision making
  • Provide insight and input into the business financial objectives
  • Interpret a broad spectrum of financial, category, brand, product, Representatives and Consumer information and apply insight to make recommendations to senior management to influence business decision making
  • Lead design and implementation of data metrics display corresponding with segmentation requirements
  • Provide compensation model analytics
  • Enhance and embed into operational planning processes online service analytics and reporting
  • Team Management: Develop high performing and self-driven Analytics team - reliable business partners to other departments locally, and globally; Ensure skills and capability enhancement, and transferability within the team; Manage team development, poor performance and succession to build a sustainable talent pipeline

Key Skills / Education:

  • Master's degree in Science, Economics, Finance, Marketing/Management
  • Significant work experience in analytical functions, at leadership level
  • Excellent analytical skills to be able to translate business financials and provide comprehensive analysis and insight
  • Strong financial skills - strong understanding of the financial models
  • Strategic analytical skills with ability to see big picture in business
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, written and verbal
  • Perfect organization and time management skills
