Our client are large local government organisation and looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant.
Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and take overall responsibility for the Finance and Resources team on a day to day basis. You will provide financial services including accounting, budgeting, monitoring, financial administration and advice.
You will provide financeial and resource management support at a senior level by delivering proactive and resource management advice and to plan and develop service and business activities to achieve corporate and financial objectives.
You will have SME experience and act as professional lead in all related matters and promote and embody the core values and outcomes of the service and driving improvement/developments. You will play a key role in identifying and implementing opportunities for service improvements when necessary.
You will be an experienced Finance Manager with experience of working experience of working within a public sector environment.
