BT Channel Director - London/Home Based - ??90k + Benefits

The BT Channel Director is to manage the CNS relationship with BT and grow sales revenues into the account in line with Capita Network Services growth strategy

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The role holder is a Senior Sales Manager, who acts as the executive point of contact for the customer developing long term strategic customer relationships. You will manage a small team dedicated to BT, and be responsible for delivering against the teams revenue targets and closing contracts, as well as engaging with colleagues and specialists to deliver customer requirements as necessary

As the Channel Director, you will be directly responsible for forecasting, identifying and converting sales opportunities into new contracts. The sales portfolio covers diverse areas, mainly in the infrastructure delivery space but includes fully managed solutions.

As a self-motivated Channel Director you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with customers at all levels. You will also understand the customers business goals and priorities and have a good knowledge of Capita portfolio.

Other Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Engaging at executive level within Openreach, BT Global Services, and BT Enterprises as well as BT Group Procurement.
  • Defining and agreeing the correct business strategy for CNS with regard to BT
  • Re-energising the sales team to exceed existing and 2020 sales targets
  • Widening the discussion with BT to lever the 360 degree position of total spend
  • Reducing the dependency on Openreach by working at executive level within the rest of BT group to ascertain areas of direct spend opportunities.
  • Re-building the internal virtual team and motivating them to common goals.
  • Engaging with BT to negotiate the correct rebate levels within the existing contract
  • Creating a channel model by which other CNS channels would operate (the exemplar)
