We have a reputation for excellence across all parts of the business. Due to our continued growth, this new position as Chief Technology Officer is a key part of our global expansion plans.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Board, the role is transformational. It involves thinking and bringing best practices to transform and scale our online platform and technical product capabilities. Our ambition is to create the leading online travel wholesale in the world for the luxury segment.

We are looking for a creative, commercially minded, get-stuff-done product leader who can organise multiple product teams and keep them focused on building the right things, at the right pace.

Experience:

  • You must have worked in a company where you were the operational leader, building an entire technology division whilst promoting a fun, unique culture.
  • Experience of connectivity to Hotels and distribution via travel agents and tour operators and integrating with third party systems, essential
  • Extensive technical product experience.
  • Solid product team management experience.
  • Ability to lead, inspire and influence technical product owners, and technically minded teams.

  • Data driven and results focused approach.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and time management skills.
  • Degree educated at a top Institution.
  • Knowledge about Agile techniques like: User Stories, Continuous Integration, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of current and future customer, business and supply partner needs and translating that into a solid vision and proposition.
  • Work with product, engineering and other key stakeholders to refine the overall strategy for platform and capabilities to deliver against those needs.
  • Help build your own team based on the strategy you define and make sure your team is on-board.
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of your product portfolio plus third-party providers and supply partner systems as needed.
  • Communicate with your key stakeholders to keep them up to date and bought into your product phasing and development.
  • Work with development team to drive continuous improvement.
