Our Client has a unique offering within the marketing services community, working with all the very best in their field.

The Finance Director will report into the CEO and sit on the Leadership Team and will be responsible for leading, managing and further developing the financial side of a privately owned, self-financed and growing business. Taking full responsibility for the overall financial management of the Group.

Key Responsibilities as Finance Director:

Financial reporting

• Financial reporting and analysis, financial oversight of the company in the US; ensuring that management accounts/forecasts are prepared and reported accurately and on time.
• Preparing group overview and consolidated management and statutory accounts. Manage statutory audit.

Financial management

• Lead the setting and delivery of financial targets. Working with Consultants and Agency leads on revenue forecasting and targets.
• Support the increasing growth of the business, with a focus on profitability and building financial discipline throughout the group.
• Provide guidance on foreign currency budgeting and payment scheduling, with particular reference to guidance post Brexit possibilities.
• Help manage the financial, operational and legal requirements to support the growth of the group - overseeing the development of US operations, ongoing development of their offices in Germany, Asia, Australia and potentially South America.

Compliance and Security

• Ensure that the business remains compliant with financial regulations in the countries it operates within.
• Leading and advising on minimizing the company's tax liability.
• Comply with all aspects of our security policies, taking personal responsibility for the security of your own, the company's and client's data.
• Develop and approve necessary policies in line with legal and compliance obligations.

Commercial

• Acting as a senior management advisor on commercial issues including agency, supplier and client contract's. together with overall business strategy.
• Good communication of key financial messages and issues to relevant groups in the business

Leadership

• Active member of Leadership Team, taking and believing in collective accountability for the management, total growth and development of the business.
• Team management and development of Assistant Financial Controller, Office Management team (x2 people), and Business Development Manager.

Finance Director Key Attributes required:

• Knowledge of advertising / digital / creative industries preferred
