Sales & Marketing Director

The business has invested significantly in its asset base, infrastructure and people in order to achieve its strategy and 100% profit (growth) target over the next 3 years. It's diverse portfolio (product and services) offering, enviable brand reputation and international footprint gives the company the strategic and operational advantage to attain such goals. The International Sales & Marketing Director role has been created to enable and expedite such plans.
This role sits on the divisional board (c £100 million t/o) and will be accountable for both the creation and execution of the international sales and marketing strategy. The position's responsibilities will be instrumental in the identification of new market opportunities whilst effectively managing and enhancing existing customer relationships. The candidate will possess the people leadership skills to build, coach, develop and inspire teams in a number of international locations. She/he will already be a Commercial Director, Sales Director or a Sales & Marketing Director with a broad range of commercial and management experiences gained within international markets. Precise sector knowledge is not mandatory but exposure to industrial, chemical, O&G, or technical business services would be advantageous. Of more importance will be the person's strategic mindset, their capability of engendering change whilst possessing the 'hands on ability' to lead from the front.
