Sales Director for Rapidly Scaling Financial Services Vendor Up to £250k OTE + Package

Our Client

Mallory Partners is retained by a private equity backed Financial Services Software Vendor which is both growing organically and through acquisition. An established business with an outstanding reputation and product portfolio, they sell their solutions to a blue-chip Enterprise customer base. They seek an experienced Sales Director from the Financial Services sector with experience of managing high performing sales teams.

The Role:

  • Define a sales and marketing strategy to achieve the business objectives
  • Grow, train and manage a high performing sales team, including developing sales strategies and metrics for analysing performance
  • Manage all aspects of the New Business strategy and plan maximising and enhancing all lines of New Business revenue
  • Create, develop and build a strong pipeline of business to deliver a predictable and growing revenue stream in line with agreed targets and timings
  • Recruit, lead, motivate and develop a high calibre team to achieve new business strategic objectives
  • Engage with key stakeholders, building partnership/collaborative working and managing change whilst driving a positive culture.

The Candidate:

  • Experience of overseeing and developing new propositions for delivery to New Business prospects within Target Markets
  • Complex enterprise sales management experience at C-suite level
  • Strong business acumen - building business cases and RoI to support a technology proposition
  • Extensive SaaS sales experience

The Sales Director is tasked with primary responsibility for sales, business development, go to market strategy, marketing, pricing, and revenue management.  This is a role focussing on organic growth, the successful candidate will need to be credible with both internal and external stakeholders.
