Paramount Consulting are a Social Care consultancy who specialise in placing senior interim professionals across Children's and Adult's Services. We are currently working with a client in the midlands who require a Head of Service to lead Practice Improvement

You will be responsible for the following:

• Build and sustain effective working partnerships across statutory services.
• Provide direct line management and have supervisory responsibility.
• Ensure that the service area is subject to effective financial management and works to a budget.
• The recruitment and selection of the workforce.
• Operate to meet local and national targets, performance managing a service area, ensuring continual progress and improvement.

You must have experience of:

• Operational management within a Social Work setting
• Extensive experience within Children's services working within improving authorities
