The Edinburgh International Festival is an internationally renowned institution based in Scotland which brings audiences and artists together from around the world for an unparalleled celebration of the performing arts. Every year we present a programme featuring the finest performers and companies from the worlds of dance, opera, music and theatre. Our impact extends beyond three weeks in August through our work in communities and schools across the city and our professional development programmes, reaching people in every ward in the city and contributing to the cultural and socio-economic life of Edinburgh and Scotland. We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Director of Finance & Commercial. This is a new, senior role, responsible for all financial and commercial management functions and for ensuring the future sustainability and continued success of the Edinburgh International Festival and its trading subsidiary, Edinburgh Festival Centre Ltd (The Hub). Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will lead the design, operation and monitoring of all strategic, financial and resource planning, management and reporting systems for the organisation.

With the proven ability of leading financial and administrative operations within a complex environment, candidates must hold an accountancy qualification and demonstrable commercial acumen and experience of leading transformational change.
