We are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading service businesses, with an enviable reputation for innovation and award-winning service excellence. This highly diverse and complex organisation is seeking to appoint a commercially orientated CFO, with the experience and drive to ensure the business remains relevant to its market, whilst expanding its proposition nationally in a sustainable fashion.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will ensure the financial integrity of the organisation through the enhancement of business planning, financial control, reporting and risk management to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth. You will provide line management for the finance function with a keen focus on capital expenditure, cash flow, investment and the analysis of key metrics to maintain financial prudence and challenge the business in a progressive fashion.
You will be a qualified, commercially focused accountant with a wealth of strategic experience, ideally gained within a highly complex, multi-stakeholder contracting environment. With strong technical knowledge, you will have excellent analytical and planning skills and be fully conversant with best practice in terms of risk, audit and continuous improvement across finance, IT and estate management. You will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage at all levels across and beyond the organisation, to solve complex strategic challenges through deliverable and workable business solutions.
