Our client is a leading European retail group who are entering a period of international expansion and are looking to appoint a US expert to the board to drive a regional growth agenda.

The Role:

  • Reporting directly to the board in mainland Europe you will design and deliver a ‘blank canvass’ long term plan to grow the brand/ business in the US with complete strategic responsibility.
  • Will create strategic partnerships in the region to increase brand awareness whilst developing the expansion plan.
  • Will ensure group standards and procedures are delivered whilst driving an aggressive brand growth strategy across the region with full autonomy and group backing.
  • Will build and lead a senior leadership team, implement group people strategies and utilise group resources to ensure targets are achieved.

The Person:

  • You will have extensive experience in the US retail sector ideally spanning multiple categories with the ability to prove you can grow profitable business.
  • Direct experience in the design and delivery of a national/ territorial growth strategies would be highly advantageous.
  • An inspirational and modern approach business leader, capable of operating in a high- profile role with exceptional communication skills at all levels and the gravitas to represent a European business in the region.
