GRG Executive Search has been retained by a private equity backed Group of Independent Financial Advisors to recruit a Chief Financial Officer for the business. Adopting a buy and build model with an ambitious grow and sell strategy our client is seeking to add a seasoned CFO to its Board. Working alongside a highly successful senior management and NED team the successful CFO will play a pivotal role developing and driving the funding strategy of the business which will enable scale at pace.

The CFO will work with the Executive Board to design overall business strategy including M&A activity and will lead accounting, forecasting, modelling, management information and the building/maintaining of a robust financial control framework. Management of external relationships with auditors, bankers, lawyers and the FCA will also form part of the role. The successful candidate will have the ability to drive strategy alongside paying attention to the detail and working with a small close-knit management team. Previous exposure to an investor backed FCA regulated environment would be a distinct advantage.
