A Venture Capital backed FinTech organisation based in the city are looking for a Finance Director with experience banking experience to take responsibility of all financial operations including ownership and roll out of regulatory and treasury procedures. It is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast growing, innovative start up environment with endless opportunity.
THE JOB
Specifically your responsibilities will include:
Lead on Control and Governance
- Key capital and liquidity ratio delivery and monitoring
- Cash flow monitoring and ownership of the budgeting and forecasting process
- Hold the external audit relationships
- Building prospective/current investor relationships working with the CFO
- Work on the creation of a treasury function
- Assist the planning/testing/implementation of projects affecting the financial control function
- Scaling out the finance function
- Review processes to make them more efficient and enhance control
YOU
To be considered for this job, you will have the following experience:
- A Qualified Chartered Accountant with around 10-15 years' experience
- Financial services experience specifically within Banking
- Strong commercial acumen and ownership
- Strong upward trajectory
- A system wizard, specifically Excel and one who appreciates the value of incorporating new technology to create efficiencies in controls
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP
