Interim Financial Controller - Challenger Bank
My client is a challenger banking organisation.
They require an Interim Financial Controller to strengthen their current finance team - responsibilities will include:
- Leading the production statutory accounts
- Oversight of tax accounts management
- IRF9/ EIR
- Oversight of hedge accounting activities and asset recognition
- Management of the wider team
The successful Interim professional will be a seasoned Financial Controller who is technically strong, yet has a strategic nous and is know for their ability to lead, develop and mentor a team. You must have worked in both a blue-chip retail banking and challenger banking environments. You must have extensive experience of the accounting of mortgages and savings products. You will be known for your hands on approach and attention for details.
The assignment is based in London for an initial period of 6 months. A rate of up to £800 per day will be paid depending upon experience.
