Interim Partners have been engaged by a leading aerospace manufacturer to source an Interim Head of Operations
The Interim Head of Operations will be responsible for managing Manufacturing, Planning, Support and Materials management teams ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and in line with Health and Safety requirements.
- To lead the team providing direction and monitoring staff performance
- Producing strategic and tactical operations plans
- To continually review processes to improve production flow using lean techniques
- To liaise with internal departments and customers where required
- To support bid proposal activity as required
- To support business strategic goals as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
The ideal candidate will:
- Be SC Cleared
- Have experience with small batch volume manufacturing
- Have worked in an Aerospace manufacturing organisation
- Be experienced in AS9100
- Be able to demonstrate being successful previously in driving forward OTIF %
- Be a strong people manager, able to embed best practice and carry out root cause analysis
- Have extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing processes
