Job Details

We are looking to build a water treatment facility in North Africa and then the Middle East and need a Project Engineer to optimise the concept design, simplify the process, assess contractors and then work with them to execute the project on time and to budget.

Client Details

A very successful, growing business with new investment secured into the business looking to take the business to the next stage with a phase 2 roll out into North Africa and then phase 3 into the Middle East.

Description

You will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the project from taking the conceptual design and simplifying it to ensure it is as simple and cost effective as possible through to successful conclusion of the project.

You will take ownership for engaging with contractors, assessing their capability and getting contracts agreed and then working with them to execute the project plan. You will be managing the project from start to finish to build the pools, pipework and pumping facilities.

Profile

You will have extensive experience of managing construction projects in water within the developing world preferably Africa or the Middle East.

You will be a senior project manager with a proven track record of assessing drawings and executing construction on the ground and keeping the local contractors on time and to budget.
