Job Details
Our client is a Civil infrastructure and highway maintenance contractor with a national branding synonymous to quality and delivery. Due to succession planning they have identified the requirement for a business unit leader with a hands on approach.
The Role:
- You will control and manage an annual spend of £20-25m and will focus the business’s resource on Health and Safety and Quality of delivery.
- With an emphasis on delivering client value you will manage the service of all sub-contractors and suppliers ensuring commercial risk is controlled.
The Person:
- Ideally of chartered status.
- Have an ‘Hands on Approach’ and enjoys leading a multi-disciplined workforce.
- Commercially astute you will have the necessary acumen to negotiate sub contact and final accounts.
