Description:

• To lead Shift Managers to achieve and exceed the team targets and objectives
• Manage the daily transport and warehouse plan through your direct reports
• Ensure the site meets legal compliance at all times
• To ensure all communication to customers internal and external is effective
• To adopt and lead a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of the daily activity
• To work methodically, accurately and demanding of high standards in self and others
• Embrace Company culture throughout all aspects of the operation

Profile:

• Strong team working ethos
• Promote a professional and customer focused approach at all times
• Act as a supportive and inspirational manager, be able to demonstrate at least 3 years management experience in a similar role and be a role model for the team within your responsibility and demonstrate strong leadership abilities
• Experience of working within a time critical transport operation
• Working knowledge of Transport Management System
