I am exclusively partnered with one of the largest Capital Markets organisations in the world who are continuing the build out of their next generation technology innovation lab. They are recruiting for VP Level Java Developers to join their Tech Innovation Lab in London.

You will be joining a senior team of passionate developers to create new services to trade in financial markets.

You will be immersed in a greenfield project that the team are currently working on which is the development of a cutting edge risk and analytics platform that will sit across all asset classes to enhance trading. You will use some of the hottest technologies on the market in a multi-cloud (AWS + GCP) environment. The team are currently using Java 8 but will making the move to Java 11 in the near future.

The successful candidate will be a passionate Java Developer who thrives off of solving Computer Science problems and developing applications with an appreciation for low latency/high volumes. Knowledge of Investment Banking is a bonus however not a necessity.

Required Technical Experience:

• Excellent Knowledge and experience with Java and all its features.
• Experience in building Microservices
• Experience with Data Systems: Kafka

Nice to Have:

• AWS or GCP
• Kubernetes
• Jenkins
• Front Office experience
