We are working exclusively with an established and growing Edinburgh based business to recruit a commercially minded Finance Director to work closely with the MD in a newly created role.

This is a fast paced and dynamic environment where you will be working with an established management team with a wealth of experience and business acumen. You will compliment this by bringing strong strategic financial manmagement skills and an ability to bring the numbers to life

Working closely with the senior management team this role is critical to the ongoing success of the business. This is a strategic level role which requires a commercial business partner with strong technical skills who can support the Divisional Directors and ensure the delivery of high quality financial information.

Whilst part of a larger Group, you will have autonomy with the SMT to drive the business forward and develop the financial strategy. Working with them you will bring the numbers to life and bridge the gap between finance and operations. A key part of the role initially will be ensuring there are strong processes and controls in place to allow for future growth . Due to the nature of the business it is essential that you have a strong background within the construction/service sector or within a projects driven environment with long term contracts.

Whilst commercially minded, you will possess strong technical skills as well as experience managing large finance functions (10+ people). We can only consider applications from those who are fully qualified (ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivelant).
