Chief Technology Officer - Betting & Gaming Platform Provider

€100,000 plus bonus and potential equity participation

Homebased - Europe (remote working)

As a Betradar Gold Certified sportsbook platform provider, my client is a start-up business that has achieved significant investment and already won some prestigious customers. The platform is a cloud-based solution, offering sportsbook and casino technology across pre-regulated markets. However, the intention now is to move into the regulated market, working through the licensing process with a number of Western European gaming authorities. As a result, the founder of the business is now looking for a Chief technology Officer to lead all technology service and product development.

Taking responsibility for both frontend and backend development within omnichannel environment, you must have demonstrable experience of Java, React, Python, PostgreSQL and Microservices. In addition, as the business develops its service and product offering, you ideally will help improve the backend utilising API commands and functions with a particular focus on casino incentives for new and existing customers. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a small team of Developers and Project Managers remotely.

Ideally you will have some experience of cloud infrastructure and good knowledge of the languages above. Knowledge of sportsbook is essential, and it would be advantageous to have working experience of casino platforms and a retail betting environment. You must be comfortable working and managing remotely, and flexible to travel to Germany and Malta when required. Finally, you must be ambitious, entrepreneurial and keen to progress your career quickly as the business grows.
