The main purpose of this role is to shape the future of the corporate finance services at a senior level. You will be tasked with ensuring that all statutory accounting, reporting activities and deadlines are met, improving all aspects of financial reporting and business partnering, raising the profile of Finance throughout the business.

This role will be to support and challenge the Managing Director and the Board of Directors on all elements of Finance and to lead and manage all day to day and strategic aspects of the financial, accounting and company secretarial activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who shares the same values and wants to run and grow a business as well as being a corporate finance expert.

Duties and responsibilities of the Corporate Finance Director:
Generating corporate finance and advisory project work - business sales and acquisitions, MBOs, finance raising, due diligence, forecasts/modelling, valuations, business growth and strategy, succession planning, grooming for sale and corporate restructuring.
Successfully delivering projects, delivering great client service and generating an appropriate financial reward for the firm and yourself.
Working closely with other areas of the business to provide a joined up and comprehensive service for their clients.
Leading and developing a corporate finance team as well as playing a part in developing advisory skills in the wider accountancy practice team.
Leveraging support from the accountancy practice in marketing, client base, referrals, compliance, back office and the professional team.

The ideal Corporate Finance Director will have:
A broad range of experience across corporate finance advisory projects and deals.
A network of North West referrers and connections and a proven track record of personal referrals.
The ability to think strategically in relation to clients businesses and also the practice itself..
Ambition - personally motivated and driven to succeed.
