The Organisation
Our client is an established retailer undergoing a total transformation, re-imagining themselves as a cosmetics health and beauty brand for tomorrow.
Role and Responsibilities
The Global Head of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance will lead the regulatory organisation in the development and implementation of regulatory strategies to gain product approvals in line with the business plan.
The Global Head of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance will:
- Lead the process for products requiring government approval
- Manage the necessary processes to provide regulatory processes for all the countries in which we operate
- Carry out product testing
- Build a consumer-focused culture: quality and service at the heart
- Develop outstanding processes and practices supporting fast cycle times
- Advise and guide on all matters related to compliance
- Team building
- Collaborate with all internal stake holders to ensure objectives are met in a collaborative work environment
- Manage a team to outstanding performance level
This is a permanent position based in London with global travel.
The Desired Applicant
The Global Head of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance will:
- Demonstrate ability to operate in a fast paced and evolving business
- Be outcome focused – works hard to execute all plans to the agreed timescales whilst maintaining diligence and attention to detail
- Possess a minimum of 8 years’ experience in global regulatory affairs within FMCG ideally with some experience of the cosmetics industry
- Have the ability to manage uncertainty around global trade environments
- Quickly master new regulatory regimes
- Have extensive new product development experience
- Have strong leadership and project management skills
- Have excellent people skills, and be a strong communicator
