This new senior role reports to the Managing Director and forms part of the senior leadership team of a market leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial and specialist doors. The company also provides a compressive service and repair offering and is private equity owned.
It has a superb reputation for the range and quality of its products, it has a network of P&L accountable business centres and is planning significant growth in the southern half of the UK, south of Birmingham and focusing on the significant potential it has in the South East and along the M4 corridor.
It has a broad client base and there are many growth opportunities in sectors such as retail, distribution, manufacturing and industrial and the key focus is to deliver profitable growth through leading the sales team to higher levels of performance and also appointing new business development specialists.
You will personally engage with key national accounts and ensure that customer service is world-class. A high quality, sales oriented B2B Regional Director is required. Your centre of gravity will be along the M4 Corridor using a key business centre as your base and you will be given lots of scope to make an impact.
You will need to have a professional background in sales, national account development and operational control and importantly your experience must have been in businesses which offer service repair and maintenance services including PPM contracts.
You will also need P&L general management experience and impressive sales leadership credentials.
Ideally you will have a deep knowledge of the marketplace for industrial doors or similar mechanical or electromechanical products and you will have developed a strong contact base within retail, distribution and industrial sectors.
You will have supplied retailers with goods ‘not for sale’ and distributors with products or equipment relating to their infrastructure or facilities. In broad terms, your experience will be based on products used in the building environment that require service and support elements in these key sectors.
