Job Description

Head of IT & Business Change to lead three teams IT, Core systems and Business Change in defining the execution steps of a strategy that will digitise our business and help deliver revenue growth and higher levels of customer satisfaction.

Head of IT & Business Change Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of IT, systems & Change through management of 3 core teams
  • Executive voice for the infrastructure, system and processes and key role to support change
  • Develop the future capabilities and resilience in direct reports required to support the business
  • As part of a senior team develop and implement the Digital change agenda - managing multiple projects at any one time from conception to fully operational
  • Collaborate with other executive peers to create alignment to people and customer strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of the organisation to define requirements and to assess inter-dependencies
  • Act as the 'go-to' person for the senior team in respect of all aspects of the projects you are accountable for
  • Manage the total cost of the project to budget and track that benefits will be realised in line with plan
  • Develop risk scenarios and mitigation plans
  • Define business readiness criteria and manage the project to them
  • Track and report issues and plans
  • Define and measure success metrics
  • Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications (both internal and external)
  • Financial Services would be an advantage

Head of IT & Business Change:

  • Experience delivering digital transformation projects
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and tools
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere

  • Organised with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with other members of the executive team and through others
  • Understanding of organisational issues and challenges and how to mitigate issues

75k to 85k + package
