Interim Finance Director

A FTSE listed manufacturing and distribution business is recruiting for an interim Finance Director for one of the organisations larger business units on an initial 3-6 month contract. This is a highly commercial role giving you steer of the planning and performance of the business unit.

As the Interim Finance Director, you will be:

• Owning business performance within the division including forecasts, the budgeting process and long to MTP financial modelling
• Business partnering with senior leadership across the entire UK operations, providing analysis and insight
• Controlling the business position by driving commercial decision making
• Implementing strategic initiatives and improving MI and KPI tracking

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a proven commercial finance background, ideally big 4 trained although CIMA/ACCA candidates will still be considered. Prior experience working within a PLC is required and industry exposure to manufacturing and distribution is highly advantageous.

The role also has a large element of flexible working, although an ability to travel between some of the UK offices as required will also be key. Apply ASAP to ensure you are considered.
