Group Reporting Manager - Group Accountant - Central London - Private Equity

Arnold Ash have been retained by a market leading PE backed business to identify and attract a Group Reporting Accountant (directly reporting in to the Group FC) for Group Consolidations and internal/external Reporting in a multi country, multi-currency environment. This Privately owned business is a FTSE 250 equivalent so you should be Audit trained in Big 4 (or similar business) and have gained some experience in Industry in a FTSE 250 equivalent business ideally.

This is an exciting time to join this PE backed business who will potentially IPO in the near future.

Skills and Requirements of Financial reporting Manager/Group Accountant:

• ACA Qualified or similar
• IFRS and Group consolidation experience required (multi-currency, multi country)
• IFRS technical experience, in particular IFRS 3, 15, 16 and 9

Key Responsibilities of Group Reporting Manager/Group Accountant:

• Preparation of the annual consolidated statutory financial statements, including external disclosure notes
• Plan the year-end processes, including liaison and key point of contact with the external auditors; preparing the external audit and reporting timetable
• Preparation of supporting audit documentation including accounting papers to assist with audit close process
• Preparation and review of IFRS reporting and accounting papers for year-end; discussing with audit team
• Managing end-to-end delivery of Group statutory accounts
• Preparing Investor Communications
• Supporting External Communications through preparing briefing notes and explanatory schedules
