Harper May is currently working with a heavily private equity backed luxury property developer based in Central London. The meticulous attention to detail shown by my client has quickly seen them grow a reputation as one of the most exciting firms in the UK. The company have experienced growth figures of 110% for the last 2 years and now have 3 offices in the UK. My client is currently seeking a Finance Director to lead their finance function and continue this impressive growth. The successful candidate will be fully ACA qualified with private equity experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the expanding finance function
- Extensive business partnering with designers and other senior stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Use specific knowledge and experience to provide insight and influence to impact performance standards
- Offering detailed analysis in regard to customers and competitors
- Responsible for the financial modelling of the Annual 5 year strategic plan
- Lead the annual budget plan process
- Oversight of the production of the monthly management accounts
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly profitability and working capital forecasts
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Must be fully qualified
- Must have Private Equity experience
- Highly motivated and pro-active self starter
- Must have prior property or construction experience
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Previous experience of managing and developing staff
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent Excel skills
